Seasoned Oak Beams
Seasoned oak is ideal for applications where movement must be kept to a minimum, but the quality of joinery timber is not required - or where an weathered/aged look is desired. The oak beams are air dried in square sections for 1 – 3 years (on average) and can then be sawn to other sections as required. 75mm is the minimum thickness the beams can be sawn to, whilst still maintaining structural soundness.
- Silver/grey weathered appearance with varied natural features makes this product ideal for traditional building applications
- Minimal movement when in situ

Grade overview
Naturally seasoned oak. Contains knots, sap content and other features. Drying splits and shakes develop during the seasoning process and can be quite substantial, especially on larger sections. Providing the beam is structurally sound these are not considered a defect. Seasoned beams are not recommended as suitable for joinery applications.
