Garden project at Quantock House Holford, Somerset
We donated some oak sleepers for a garden project to the local St Margaret's Hospice, Quantock House, a residence that provides carers and patients with respite accommodation and a chance to recuperate in pleasant surroundings. A year on from looking after its first carers, Quantock House has established itself as a valuable resource for the many carers and patients living within Somerset, running in partnership with Rethink and Carers UK.
We love to support this local charity - one that has grown from a team of just 3, to now over 300 - serving the whole of Somerset, caring for over 5,000 people each year! The oak sleepers will enable users of all ages and abilities to enjoy gardening and all the benefits to wellbeing that this pastime offers.

This generous gift of such a high quality product and volunteering time and effort is greatly appreciated by all at St Margret’s Hospice.
